SUMMER AT CAPANNINA
Nestled in the tranquillity of the mountains, Chalet Capannina offers the perfect retreat for those seeking sports or relaxation at 2000 metres above sea level.
The fresh air and warm sun accompany mountain bike enthusiasts and hikers along scenic roads and picturesque trails. In summer, the flowers brighten the surroundings of the chalet, creating an enchanting atmosphere.
In our outdoor area, you can enjoy grilled specialities. Just 6 km from Sauze d’Oulx and 10 km from Sestriere, the chalet is the ideal starting point to explore the "Forti dell’Assietta" road. With our deep knowledge of the area and a passion for off-roading, we are ready to recommend unforgettable routes. Additionally, the Gran Bosco Nature Park offers a magical experience for hiking or horseback riding, making your stay a memorable adventure.

The Vialattea, established in the 1980s, is an excellent ski resort that includes famous locations such as Sestriere, Sauze d’Oulx, Oulx, Sansicario, Cesana, Claviere, Pragelato, and Monginevro. With over 250 slopes, it is one of the largest ski areas in Europe, offering an unforgettable experience for both expert skiers and beginners, as well as families.
For those who love winter adventure, we offer snowshoeing and guided trekking with our Environmental Hiking Guides, allowing you to explore the natural and historical wonders of the mountains. Each route reveals breathtaking landscapes and fascinating stories.
